Farewell CH?

Feeling like writing something on the blog despite of still-lots-on-the-list-to-revise-for-tomorrow. Hehe.

Okay. Duty called. Will be going back to campus today. Emotionless, since tomorrow is exam and so, stuff like saying I dun feel like coming back is not even in my mind.

I dun like exam, but then who does. Give me such an unstable state of mind.

Whatever it is, am wishing everyone the best of luck. May Allah bless our effort and ease the exam. And hopefully, whatever happen, insyaAllah will help us to mature into a better medical student and hence, a better 'ibad to Him. 

And I can't believe I'll be starting surgery posting next week. Like, really? haha. Hoping tunjuk ajar from friends who are almost done with the posting and beloved seniorsss as well. We will be separating into smaller groups of 14 now. Kurang menyengat dah kalau nak bising2. haha. :D

p.s. Am missing Sakinah's scream already. haha.

Home ;)

Alhamdulillah 'ala kulli hal. Going home today. Seronok. :) Jumpa mereka yg di-rindui. Sampai dah mimpi2 siap. Hehehe. Am writing this while waiting for the flight home, suddenly it is delayed. Huuu. At least, I got some time to write a mini post. :)

Almost two months being a 4th year medical student and a week or so continuing my service as MSC's MT. Within the time, there have been ups and downs already. Tribulations testing my patience . And yes, there are moreeeee yet to come after this. Somehow, I'm anticipating those. Haha.

Look forward and backward. Despite of what u've been tru, at the end of the day, what important is your dependance on Him.

Just bought. Hehe. :)

p.s. I've quited my twitter and Didi signed me for instagram instead. Muhaha.

Lembaran Baru?

Alhamdulillah. Back to Ampang for good. Luggages are still unpacked and the house is still in mess. And I couldn't resist the temptation to write another post. :) Muhaha. Tengokla, nnt masuk posting clinical yg lain, mesti xdan sentuh pn blog ni. Huu.

Done with my community health posting! Almost. Not much stuff to do this week or next week. Just finish up our reports and CWUs. And of course, Special Study Module (SSM) needs urgent attention. Wuhuuu.

Post-HID getaway! Melaka Wonderland was our choice of destination. Dah kali ke-3 saya pergi water theme park. Lebey kurang jee sume.

And yes, before leaving Tampin for good, we all decided to pay a visit to a rubber estate and factory. Which supposedly to be done beforeeee our research. Huuhuhu. The smell of getah waassss indescribable laaaa! Sgt perghh! The smell sticked to our clothes. Xtau laaa klau basuh hilang ke x.

and Alhamdulillah again! Done with AGM last night. Although I expected a few questions from the rest of MSCians, but none was being asked, leaving the AGM a bit dull and finished quite early. I think everybody was just plain tired and wished to wrap up everything quickly. Some were having  exam on the next day. Huhu. Alaa, padahal cuak klau kena tanye mcm2 nnt. Hehe.

Pre and Post HID

Am finding myself pressing the new post button instead of doing the attachment report and case write up. missing this blog. i drafted a lot of post. hoping this blog can auto-write by itself. ;p

Just finish HID and Alhamdulillah! Everything worked out smoothly except a few things didn't work the way we planned it. 

HID stands for Health Intervention Day. Once we have finished the research at FELDA and come out with a community diagnosis, organizing a health carnival is a part of informing people the result of the research and promoting a better lifestyle for them.

The day didn't start off really well when a friend involved in an accident. Alhamdulillah, nothing happened to to them. Except for the car. Ujian Allah nak bagi... Huuuu. Once we arrived, the school compound was full with KIDS! For some moments, if felt like we were doing Sport Carnival for children. Byk sgt laa plak kanak-kanak melompat sana-sini.

Anyway, once, you were assigned to be under protocol unit, there are two things u have to accept:

1) u can't really enjoy/involve in any particular activity.

2) later, u will notice that u're not in any of the pics. except nmpak laaa tepi2, interframe skit or belakang. haha.

Xbyk sgt bleh cite regarding HID from my view. All I can say everything run well. except for the participation. There weren't many adults coming to the carnival. They just sent down the children and went back home. Huuu. 

Best part is tarik tali! hehehe. My first tug of war :D

Life in CH posting 2

When u come from an urbanized family, seeing a herd of lembu or kambing can be a big deal of excitement for u. Ye kan syeera? Hehe.

Alhamdulillah, another day in Tampin. It's the end of my second week here. But it feels like forever daaah and I dun think I'll be able to settle down properly here. All the clothes are still in the luggage and I intend to leave them that way until the end of this posting. Huuu.

Our latest visits were to Kg Pondoi to see KKM project with BAKAS (Unit Bekalan Air + Kebersihan Alam Sekeliling) concerning SPAL (Sistem Pelupusan Air Limbah) and to Loji Air Gemencheh. The facts are supeeer dry. So, I let the pics to tell the story. :)

Loji air

The fact I can update the blog soo often, makes u wonder how is it our schedule here. We start our class/ceramah/attachment by 8.30 a.m. (can be much later depend on the PKD people). By noon, we have break and usually continues at 2.30 pm and finishes it around 5 pm. The rest of the day are ourss. Unlesssss, our group leader decides to kill our time by having meeting. Huuu. By the way, there's not much thing to revise on this posting.

Two major things in this posting are the 'grand' research and the Health Intervention Day (read : karnival kesihatan jee poong).

The topic for our research is "Musculoskeletal Problems Among Rubber Tappers In Felda Pasir Besar, Tampin, Negeri Sembilan". Ahaha, the same topic again! like previous batches except that we are doing it at another FELDA. Rasenye abees laa sume FELDA kat Tampin ni bdak USIM wat research. Ahaha. The major limitation in this study is that, this FELDA hassss been looong established since 1960s. Means that most of the rubber trees are OLD and just waiting to be cut down. And that affects A LOT on our study population because the first generations daah agak tua (ade yg daah xde, huu) and 2nd/3rd gen already sub-contracted it to buruh/indons. Pendek kata, xramai dah laa yg menoreh kat FELDA ni. But still, Dr wants to continue the study there and by hook or crook, we need to find our study sample, be it indon or banglaa mariii. Hmm, redaaah estate and kebun laa jwbnyee nk cari mereka2 ni. Huuuu.

That's for research. For HID, I was assigned to handle the protocol unit with Syeera. Usually, mmg exco MSC akan amik part tuu. Ntah nape. Not much to be done now, except for planning and moreee planning. The worst part is the execution of the plan on the 'hari kejadian'. Huuu.

p.s. This posting makes me feels like I'm not a medical student at all. muhaha.
