This is not a dslr
Ni br dslr. Gaya org 1st time pgang cam gini, tercacak2 jarinye...hahaha

Layth's Kindie

These pics were taken at Layth's kindergarden. He goes there twice in a week, on Tuesday and Friday. The fee is $75 per day, rasenya. But for Australian, they are subsidized and so, 50% off from the fee. Their Govt is like trying to promote working people to have children. Sbb dieorg cam xckup rakyat gitu. And the immigrants are sooooooooo berlambak here. When we arrived at the Melb airport last two weekend, the immigration center was overly loaded with people around the world. Kat sini, gaji cleaner pn boleh tahan sbb nobody wants to do those kind of jobs. Anyway, back to the kindie...

Back to the journey on the land of kangaroo!!! Hahaha.

Melbourne City

Last Friday (3/6), we (Mama, Sis Khairun and me) set out a journey to Melb City on our own since both Nana and Sis Aliya were working and Layth was at kindergarden. We took a cab to the Frankston train station. Mahal gak kene charge (dlm $12, usually $8 je) since we called him instead of tahan kat tepi jalan. So, as usual laa, smpai je kat train station wat muka blurr, jln tgk kanan kiri, tgk org. Hahaha. Other people were hurriedly running to catch the train. And after asking people around, we managed to get on the train and arrive at Flinder St station safely.

Sy agak cranky sbb xsihat and flu skit
Flinder St train station
Urban Garden, kecik je pn
Ni la ACMI, will do another post on it later
Tunggu tourist bus kat sini. That building is an old cathedral.

Then, we snapped pics around ACMI (xigt stand for what, tp ad dlm gmbar). Due to lacking of tourist guide toshow us around, we got on the tourist shuttle bus (and it is a free ride!). Got 13 stops.

1st stop : Art Precinct (errr, bunyik pn cm dah bosan, hahaha)
2nd : Federation Square (tmpt kiteorg naik bus tuh, dkt dgn Flinder St station, ade ACMI n riverside parks)
3rd : Sport Precinct (xpasti stop nie ad ape)
4th : Chinatown Precinct (kat mne2 je ade kg cina nie)
5th  : Melbourne Museum and Carlton Garden (dah ad post sal tmpt nie)
6th : Lygon Street Precinct (xigt pn stop nie kat ner)
7th : University of Melbourne (Uni ni dlm bandar and building die cam scattered skit)
8th : Queen Victoria Market (tmpt famous utk beli souvenirs, murah coz sume made in CHINA, hahaha)
9th : Waterfront City, Docklands (kiterorg turun kat stop nie, window shopping shoes and bags <-- nie mama and then beli souvenirs and break to pray dlm parents room)
10th : Docklands Stadium and Victoria Harbour
11th : William St
12th : Southbank and Yarra River
13th : The Shrine and Royal Botanic Garden (the last 4 stops dah mls nk tgk sgt sbb dah penat).

And then, we ride for another round sbb nk pergi ke Queen Vic Market. Unfortunately, smpai2 tuh, dah nk tutup. So, kiteorg beli ape yg dan je. Next, we took the train at the Flagstaff train station, nie yg paling dekat market tuh. And again, blurr xtau nk amik which line of train, dah laa kne main tukar2 train to reach Frankston. Fortunately, jumpe laa sorang Mat Salleh nie tgh pegang train timetable. Apparently, we need to take any train that reach Richmond. And from there baru ader train line that goes to Frankston. Alhamdulillah, we arrived Frankston at 5 pm sumthing. And it was dark already since tgh winter.

Dlm parents' room. Best, ade microwave for mums to heat milk, tmpt tukar lampin n even private room to menyusu (and also nice place for us to pray in private, hehehe)

Blogging?

I has added one more hobby into the list, blog-walking. Esp the ones owned by your ex-classmates, friends or at least the person you know outside this virtual world. My sis-in-law had once said that when you blogwalking into somebody's blog, esp your friends, it is just your way to say hi or to update your friends' current condition but you're just plain lazy to actual do so. Hahaha. I couldn't agree more about that. Kelakar je.

Reading those (I mean their blogs), reminds me how they are in real person. When you write something out, it reflects who you are, or at least the way you think. Some might write or share the words of goodness/zikrullah, some want to discuss the world's current issues or some just looove to scribble their personal experiences, simply to share their happiness and sorrow to the  world. Whatever it might be, that diversity makes blog-walking an interesting hobby to me.

By the way, I've finished watched the Sungkyunkwan Scandal. It's an okay for me (minus the romance-geli-geleman stuff). Gu Yong Hac (Song Jong-Ki)  is soooooo cute!!! Hahaha. xde la. Ade certain quotes from that movies that catch my attention.

"Intelligence is not found in the answer but is in the question." Thinking it back, knowing the answers doesn't mean you know everything. But when you ask the right question, you will find yourself progressing towards the right path. However, since we are trained to memorize the answers, it's kinda hard to do it the other way. Not to mention, some of the questions we assume them as the stupid ones. When in fact, in the stupid ones lies the right question. Hahaha, what I'm trying to say niee?! Okay2, the thing is don't be afraid to ask question or to question anything!

"The smaller thief will lead to the greater thief". Well, at first, I don't really get it. Rupa2nya, the underlying meaning was the bribery and misconduct of the upper officers that lead to poverty and hardship of middle and lower class people. The latter class will  eventually commit petty theft under desperation to survive. Human will always be human. Until now, bribing is a never 'basi' issue. Even in our own country (although the people are not physically oppressed), bribery is rampant. (I feel like writing for SPM essay, ahaks)

A New BFF

Sometimes, in a day esp during the hols (asyk terperap kat umah je), I've more monologues than proper dialogue with people. Always go deeeeeeeeep into my thots. Klakar je. Silap hari bln, ckp sensorang cam org gila. Hahaha. (Na'uzubillah!) That's why the existence of this blog comes into play. Here is where the unspoken words or the words that weren't listen too go.

And it's nice to see your thots being put into proper words. At least, it won't be bottled up inside and explode xpsl2. hahaha.

But of course this blog will never ever (and forever!!!) topple my ultimate LISTENER.

Monologue

People say being yourself is better than trying to be somebody you're not...

But,

what if, you're unsure about yourself

or

that yourself has a lot to be improved.

And then, that saying is not making sense...and is overused by people like me as an excuse to resist change.

Rejab, Syaaban, ?

Rejab was here yesterday.

Next in the line is Syaaban...

And pejam-celik2, Ramadhan is 2 months away.

Sekejap je rase...

49 days.

Dibah gave me this Korean drama.

Citer nie mmg nonsense....nonsense and nonsense,

but I could use a good laugh dlm suasana sejuk + my nose is numb from the flu and sneezing.

Anyway, panjang siot kot, 20 eps, crammed with stories of different persons entangled in the same conflict.

and to find that at the end, nobody is with anyone, the heroine died at last (even I'm not sure who's the hero/heroine).

It really deviates from the cliche happy ending of Kdramas. Hahaha.

This drama also reminds me to my friends, who have been together since my innocent days as kekanak ribena. And those who I feel comfortable and ease with their presence. Although, there were times where I feel like really2 geram with them, but at the end, you can't just liking them.

"To purely and sincerely love someone"....

With that love to search for the ultimate love of HIS.

Perrghh, cam dah pelik bunyik love tuh. Okay, this topic ends here!

Day 5 (2/6/11)

Mama and me strolled around the house area and visited the Monash Uni branch for education, economy plus bussiness faculties. Dekat sgt uni tu ngan Nana's house. Later, Sis Aliya took us to the shopping mall. Mama did some shopping, spent $100 sumthing on corelle (aka pinggan mangkuk laa tuh). Dasat tul but her money anyway, so no question asked. Hahaha. Even, I used her money as well. Baba said I was like a parasite, hahaha. Nak wat cmne, xder proper income. And I bought myself a new pair of shoes. Yeeee! Murah je, $10 sumthing, beli kt K-mart je pn (aka cam Mydin kt M'sia).

After that, just before Maghrib time, Sis Aliya took us uphill to see the sunset. And Layth asked "Why does the sun go down into the ocean?", hehehe, how to explain that to 4 y/o kiddo. "-.-

Day 2 (30/5/11)

Melbourne Museum

Nana was off from his work. He took us around the Monash uni jap then, he brought us to Melbourne Museum. This was my second time. There wasn't any much change since my last visit except they were having a mummy of pharaoh for exhibition. Replica je pn, not a real one. But during the visit, I was semiconscious, sooooo sleeeepy cause I took flu med and Loratadine at the same time the night before. I sort of double-dosed myself with sleepy meds. I can even sleep while walking. Hahaha, padan muka. Igt ubat cam magic ke, makan sekali gus boleh terus sembuh...Camne laa nk jd doc. Here some pics there. Mostly were gone because of some technical issues with the card reader. Huhuhu.

All info about bugs and insects ade kat sini. Interesting!!!

I think the pic was about the insects live in the ground ke ape ntah...

Inside the ant colony!!!

Replica of animals

Tempat nie sal batu2 kristal rasenyeee...

Mini Jurassic Park!

Section ni sal human  body! Best sgt2!!!
The most interesting part for me, of course laa the human body. Because that was the part I understand the most compared to dinasours, bugs etc. One section was called 'Preparing For Puberty' or something like that laa. Kinda sensored. Various pics of human in different phases of life (phases like kids, teens, adult) pasted on the wall..........in full nudity. Hahaha. I didn't dare to take pics (mmg xleh pn!).

The other section was all about human mind. Sape nk jd psychologist/psychiatrist boleh laa dtg. Quite interesting. But this time, I didn't go into that part, since mama cam tired and I was fighting to stay conscious. We called it a day after finishing the human body section.

Day 3 (31/5/11)

Shopping kat bandar Frankston. Didn't buy much, window shopping je lebey. Beli prepaid sim. Tp entah camne sampai skang sim tu xleh top-up. Pelik. Nasib baik free jer sim tuh.

Day 4 (1/6/11)

Did nothing. Just stay at home. Both Nana and Sis Aliya went to work. I tried to ride on Sis Aliya's bicycle. Cam advance je basikal tuh, dah laaaaaa tiiinggi!!! Asl laaa sume mende tinggi2 kt cni...

Good Daaaay, mate! II

Day 1 (29/5/11)
The Air Asia flight to Melbourne was scheduled at 10.30 pm. Mama and I checked in at 6 sumthing pm. During the check in I spotted a familiar face. Sekali pandang cam kenal, dua kali pandang mcm xknal plak. But suddenly that guy startled and was staring hard at me. Saaah, mmg kenal! It turned out he was a USIM's sci tech guy, same batch lak tuh. Hahaha.

The eight-hours in-flight journey was okay. But kinda boring. Ye la, air asia. They don't give any entertainment unless you pay for them. Tp syukur laaa, nk naik MAS mahal kot.

Mama was overwhelmed by tiredness
We arrived at 8 am sumthing, got to go tru the immigration stuff and declare some food item we brought in together. Keropok ikan je pn, tp cuak gyle, takut2 immigration officer tu punggah beg nk check, mane la tau. Makanan tu plak sumbat between baju, mne xmalu klau kne punggah. Huhuhu. So, mama siap bce2 doa and sembur2 lg kat immgration officer. Hahaha. Kelakar, tgk2 the officer just x-rayed our luggages. Alhamdulillah, lepas.

We waited for like 15 mins for Nana and Sis Aliya to arrive. And then, they brought us to an Arabian restaurant for breakfast and shopped for Arabian sweets. Mama siap speaking Arab lagi ngan shopper tuh. Being at the restaurant and the sweet shop brings back all those memories my mother had when she was in Cairo. And I think baba should be here too, reminiscing those memoirs together with mama. Because I absolutely had no idea what she was talking about. hahaha.

In front of the restaurant

Xtau pizza jenis ape

Inside the sweet (halawiyaat) shop
After filling up, Nana made a quick tour around the Melb City. We took some pics at Carlton Garden.

Mama n me

Mama, me, Nana and budak kecik, Layth

"Flower for ummi!" -Layth

Far-sighted scene, hahaha

Mama wat posing ayu, hehehe
In the afternoon, Nana and Sis Aliya had prepared for a small bbq behind the house. We grilled chicken wings, sausage with weird flavours (for me laa), lamb and I think that's all. Although, it took us some time to get the fire/heat ready, we got it right at the end. And when I said 'we', it means Nana, Sis Aliya and mama. I helped them too.....by eating the food ;p.

Layth was inspecting the grilled sausages

Half-cooked and half-burned chicken wings

Say 'Bismillah' everyone! Yum, yum yummy!

Well, that's all for now.

Good Daaaay, mate!

Alhamdulillah, Allah gives me 2nd opportunity to travel to the land of kangaroo again. Been here for 4 days already. Not doing much (eating too much ade la), just visiting area around the house and etc. Previously, Nana lived in Coburg, nearer to the Melb City but then he moved to Frankston, dekat sgt dgn beach!!, tp it takes almost an hour to get to the City.

And now it's winter. Temperature is around 10 sumthing. Time noon okay laa kuar, xde la sejuk sgt tp time early morning and night, my fav spot is in front of the heater, huahuahua. The cold is bearable, cam constantly duduk dlm air-cond in lecture hall.

I think it's kinda weird to see mama not doing anything. Klau kt rumah, if there's free time, she'll be mengemas, mengemas and mengemas. Tp rumah bersepah gk, thanks a lot to jejaka2 kt umah tuh (sy mungkin sepahkan skit2 kot, ha3). Mama is a neighbourly type too. Suka bertandang kat rumah2 jiran, but here, batang hidung jiran pn xnampak, apatah lg nk kenal. So, she's a bit disappointed about that. I bet those people are either too busy working or too old and sick to get out often.

Anyway, life will be incomplete without probs to test us. We're having some sort of camera probs.

1) My cam has LCD prob. I opened it last week to get it fix tp okay lak time tu. So, xjd nk baiki. Smpi sini screen die blank balik, tp boleh amik gambar lg. But it feels like taking photos blindly, cam bangang je.

2) Mama's cam okay, tp when I checked the SD card, it has 128 MB of memory, PE KEJADAH NIE!!! SAPE TUKARR?? No wonder it gets full to quickly. Since the cam is an old version of Sony, so xdpt cari laa pengganti lain.

3) Nana's cam pn okay sgt2. So, we borrowed his cam and snapped photos sana-sini. When I got home, I attempted to transfer the pics into mama's lappy when suddenly the comp was jammed and the SD card coudn't be read. And that was  the end of it and the photos too. Fortunately, ade laa saki-baki photos snapped by my ipod.

I'll post some photos in my next post. Layth tetiba wat sudden appearance nyibuk kat sini.
