Marathon de Kelantan.

**Alert : This entry is a looooooooong one. You can skip the text and enjoy the pics. Or you can skip both and leave this blog right now. He2.

Ten houses, two different 'pasar borongs' and a resort in just 4 days. Mmg penat. But worth of doing. Thanks a lot to those who came from far and to those who willingly invited us to their homes. Ha3. The last four days was a blast with splendor and lavish food at each visited homes :P. At last sume dpt abdominal distension, over-eating punye case. Hak3. I think after the trip each of us had put on extra kg kot.

Us : Zt, Tirah, Dilah, Tin, Radhy. Sanah (achik), Hawa, Reen, Me, Wani, Dib, Dijat, Sof, Fay. Not in d pic: Man (Gu)

Day 1 started off with arrival from kl and t'ganu. We breakfasted and lunched at Dib's house. Tok Ma's and Cunni's nasi lemak and nasi ayam were delicious. He2. Our first stop after luch was Sanah's house at Binjai. We were treated with laksam and desert like caramel pudding and kek batik. Next house was Dilah's at Melor. We stayed there until night, makan2 and had a lil chit-chat.

At a very last minute, we planned to go Az's house, since we were already in the area. The lane to her house was freakingly narrow with jungle at both sides. All of us were scared to death. And Az wasn't picking up her phone. Mmg siot. We took a wrong turn and almost lost. Ha3. Lastly, we stopped to ask for direction. Rumah p.cik yg kami tanye direction tu pun agk menakutkan with smoke coming out from the house. But we managed to get the right direction and arrived there safe and sound. It was an unforgettable experience. Ala2 horror movie lak. Note to ourselves : visit Az during the day only!

Day 2 was filled with shopaholic mood. In the morning we headed to Pasar Siti Khadijah. Before that, we had our breakfast at Mok Noh's, in front of SRI Aman, my, Lel's, Timah's, Bob's and Chan's former primary school. Hak3. At the pasar, the girls unleashed their femininity. Semua dah rambang mata tgk baju and kain.We left that pasar with flat purses. :( Hu3.

At lunch, we went to Zt's house at Bachok. Simple dish for lunch, Fried Mee with Kepok, specially made by Zati herself~ He3

With Zt and her mother and nenek

And directly from there we were off to Perdana Resort. My Toyota Unser was crammed with 11 people inside, two in front and 9 at the back. Kalah ikan sardin dlm tin. Hak3. There, we met with Fay and the gang, Sanah, Hawa and Reen. That made 15 of us.

The passengers. Should be 5 persons in the middle row.

Soon after we checked in, we strolled at the beach sambil2 mkn ABC with 'satar' and 'otak'. Mmg sempoi.

ABC tajaan Radi
Peace~

At night, we had a belated, candle-light birthday party to Radi who'd turned 20 on Monday. It was sweet to do it beside the swimming pool.

The candle-light dining table

Kami.

Day 3 was a loooong one. In the morning, we walked along the beach and swam (more like berendam actually, hak3) kt swimming pool. Before going home, we stopped by at the stalls sambil wat test drive kt area tuh. :P

Depan chalet

Going home
Diversity of seafood

Test drive moments. Dib : fresh graduate driver, just barely passed JPJ's test.

From PCB, we went to Fay's house for brunch. And next to Dib's to lunch - Nasi Kerabu. Superly sumptuous! Got a quite long chit-chat with Dib's mother. And of course, we didn't miss a chance to dig Dib's misbehavior time kecik2 lu. Hak3.

At Fay's

Next, we continued our mission to Hawa's house. As usual, almost lost twice. Then to Timah's to dine in and Lel's for supper.

With Hawa and her parents. *The small kid was Dib's sis

At Lel's with her new renovated house. Mmg lawa!

Well, our journey didn't stop there. After that, we went to pasar borong at Wakaf Che Yeh. Mcm2 la plak bdak2 ni beli. The most bizarre one was Tin's chili. It was kinda weird to suddenly buy chili in Kelantan. Xde jual cili kt KL ke? Hu3, I asked my mother and just knew that that chili or lada besar/siam was only found in Kelantan. We went home at midnight (after being scolded by my father sbb blik lmbt, hu3).

Day 4 was a ride back to hometown. And that was the end of our trip.

 The late-arrival of double-storey bus

He2, closer look~

It's hard for the girls to go for a trip like this. So, millions thanks to their parents to permit them to go. And above all, thanks to Allah for our safety throughout the journey (to Dijat too, for reading the prayer loudly every time we commence our journey :D).
p/s: Nah, amik korang, penat tulih tau. And for more pics, you can get from me and Dijat when the new sem starts.

The Worst of Everything.

Worst tourist guide, worst host and etc. Okay, I get it. I really need to work on my social skill. My bro labels me as a social recluse which I deny it every now and then. Well, I'm starting to think that he got a point there.

When my father asked me to be a tourist guide to his Indian friend's wife and son, I was dumbfounded. Alamak, nk ckp ape? It's not the English speaking part that scared me of (not that my Eng is good btw), but what is there to talk about? My general knowledge of Kelantan is beyond poor, what's more on the geography part. He2. :P As being claimed by some of my friends, I'm a Kelantanese 'celup'. So, that explains the ignorance. Also, there was one question asked by the Indian, whether Malaysia is a democrat country or not. And I said yes la (based on what I'd learn in History three years before, hu3). And she asked if there is a king. Mmg la ada kn. So, whattehek king is doing in a democrat country?! Hmmm. It took me a few secs trying to recall whatever left in my brain's lobe regarding constitutional monarchy. Yup, as expected, mmg blank. So, I spurted out anything that was in my mind. "The king is nothing, no power, just symbol of something, bla3....." If I was about to do another history's essay, the probability of failure is definitely 1. Hu3 I wonder what has happened to all the history facts I churned in during SPM. I think it'd gone together with the exam paper. This is what we call study for granted and langsung x ikhlas. Now, it backfired me. That question also left me questioning my nationality too.

Anyway, the guys just visited my house just now. 14 of them (yeke, I didn't count pn). Just came, ate and blah. Mcm R&R rasa. Actually, according to adab tetamu, host spatutnya melayan tetamu. But 14 against 1. Mmg xterdaya. With my mum and bro time tu jgak la nk keluar rumah.Hu3. Extreme awkwardness. Aku dan mereka juga. So, I ended up leaving them to self service. Supposedly, Dibah was there to accompany me la. But at last,  I accompanied her watching tv. He2. Thanks a lot Dib for your time. Had a nice chit chat with you (although I'd to bear listening to her latest gossip girl series and all the gedik's thingy~). Lalala~ And thanks to the guys yg dtg tadi, at least you know where my house is.

My bro is leaving the house soon for USIM! Aissey, bosan la plak nk lepak kt rumah sorang2. And I'm anticipating the girls to come to Klate nnt. Yea! Girls Day Out II!

The Tag Stuff,

Since dh 2 org had tagged me. So, I just answer je la. No harm I guess.

-Just finished eating, xrase nk craving pa-pe

2.Where is the place that you want to go most?
-Jannah. I believe everyone dreams of going there.

3.If you can have 1 dream to come true, what would it be
-I'm  a person who loves to dream. So, my dream is to have all my dreams to become true.

4.Which type of person do you hate the most?
-A liar, but then sape yg suke penipu. hu3

5.Do you believe in seeing a rainbow after the rain
-Well, rainbow is cute but scientifically it just an optical phenomenon. So, I don't really mind seeing it or not.

6.If you have fault, would you rather the people around you point out to you or would you rather they keep quiet?
-Of course la I want to know. Mistakes is how we learn to improve ourselves. But klau nk pinpoint my fault pon please do it privately la.

7.Find a word to describe the person who tagged you
-Ade 2 owg actually, first wud be Wafiy. What to say bout him erk? Personally, I dun really know him that much. But I guess everyone else is also in the process of getting to know each other. So, wafiy is NICE, really, I mean it. And yeah, just like everybody and Pn Adilah had said before, "Korean actor-like". Hak3
-The 2nd person was Dbah. One word that suits her the most would be G****. ha3 (I know, dbah must be screaming at me rite now~!!) But due to our bff code, I'll look past that G stuff~.

Supposedly, I've to tag somebody else but nevermind la. I'm not the type yg suke tag2 ppl. hak3.

Updating...

Yeah! A new post at last. It's been quite a while and this blog has been overclouded by 'sawang'. *sweeping*. Hak3. Not that I don't want to write anything, it just that I didn't seem to have a suitable time to spend entirely on the computer. A mere 'touch and go' I guess. He3. Yela2, when you're at home, byk la pulak dishes to be washed, constantly dirtied dining table, tons of laundry load, plus multiple attempts to cook (which most of the time, the food is whether has an OD of salt/sugar or actually both :P - still L okay~).

Yesterday, I spent an entire day at shopping mall. Shopaholic? Nooo la. My bro got that SIR competition thingy. Kalah at preliminary round lg. His last word for the final three was Gastroenteritis - is a catchall term for infection or irritation of the digestive tract, particularly the stomach and intestine (in Kelantanese version, it's ceroh perot la). So, he spelled g-a-s-t-r-o-A-n-t-H-e-r-i-t-i-s. I was like, Noooooo!! hak3. Well, pity him. He kept on repeating that 'enteritis' over and over again despairingly in the car and at home. Seriously, that word is going to haunt him for some time. Nk wat camne. It's not his rezeki la. At night la, I was helping my other bro looking for purple kemeja. (Alaaa, that purple for our tamhidi's orientation thingy laa). There are so many variation of purple. At the end, I felt like I was having a temporary colour blind. Pening tgk bj~ :P

Anyway, this week is our 3rd week of hols. Boleh la nk reflect and reevaluate our past activities. This free time of ours should be spent in the remembrance of the Almighty. So that we will not regret later on. Don't abuse these two blessings.
Narrated ibnu Abbas: Allah's messenger said, "there are two blessing in which many people incur loss. (They are) Health and free time (for good doing)" -Al-Bukhari.
Teringat lak what Mak Cik Hafizah has said. Normally we used to say, "study sungguh2, wat kerja elok2 etc, tp akhirat jgn lupa". Yet Allah has said it inversely in Surah Al-Qasas, verse 77th.
"But seek, in that which God has given you, of wealth, the Abode of the Hereafter, by expending it in obedience to God, and do not forget your share of this world, that is, [do not forget] to strive in it for the sake of the Hereafter; and be good, to people, by [giving] voluntary alms, just as God has been good to you. And do not seek to cause corruption in the earth, by committing acts of disobedience. Surely God does not love the agents of corruption’, meaning that He will punish them." -Tafsir al-Jalalayn
Seek the abode of hereafter but do not forget your share in the world. Whatever our doings are, always aim it for hereafter, the everlasting place. Study pn, let's aim it for dakwah(Allah). But I know, some of us (me include kot), study for granted. Since that is the thing that everyone else is doing. So, it would be bizarre and queer if we don't do it. Just an act of following the current of life.

But sometimes, we apparently indulge too much or sink in whatever we're doing, it overwhelms our aim. Studying/working too much or etc that we seem to forget where we're actually heading too. Don't let wasilah override your goal aka Hereafter.

K. Off for now.
