GEGAR?

To all my friends, hopefully this post can increase your general knowledge (yeke?). Hu2

So, what the heck is GEGAR? For those yg tahu, Alhamdulillah, you r someone who follow your local news and progress. But to those who are in dark about this, do keep reading what I'm about to write after this. (Ceh, budget tau laa nie, hak3)

GEGAR is an abbreviation of 'Gerakan Bertindak Kembalikan Royalti Rakyat Kelantan'. So, apa yg dperjuangkan kt sini? Well, basically it is to retrieve Kelantan's right on oil royalty. Since year 2005, (if I'm not mistaken la), oil aka petroleum la kan, was found at the Kelantan's offshore. Since then, the money obtained is drained into Goverment's pocket. And only God knows how the money is spent by them. After the issue is raised to the Goverment, they agreed on giving 'wang Ehsan'. (a very, I mean, VERY small amount of money laa compared to the money they gained from selling the oil stuff). So, why is it so hard to give back the things that belong to the people? Anyway, the money tu plak, of course la will be used for the sake of Kelantanese welfare and development. Then, there's a claim, saying Kelantan is poor, undeveloped and etc. Think again, who's fault is that? Nevertheless, to give back is easy, but when there's political interest comes to play, everything is suddenly began to be very manipulative. BTW, the same scenario happens in T'ganu.

Nk tahu lebih lanjut, Google it up la yerk. :P Sy pon xreti sgt bende2 nie. hu3

So, my friends, tonight would be a big night at Stadium Sultan Muhammad Keempat. There will be a few people talking about this issue. Among the main speaker is Ku Li aka Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah aka pengasas Petronas and Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri.

Perit.

Today, after quite some time, I went visit my grandmother wif my father. Lame dh xjmpe. Everytime I see her, my heart aches. Sedih tgk her condition. She has dementia aka nyanyuk la tu. But not that bad la, coz she's on meds. BTW, she still recognizes us esp me :P, that's a good thing la. Deep down inside that fragile body, I know there is a strong woman fighting to survive. Her 20 years suffering of stroke and the resultant paralysis has proven her resilience. And being unable to walk and has very limited movement, her muscles atrophied. So, from using canes, wheel chair, now, she's only able to 'mengengsok?'. Tu pun, with the help of someone. It's not easy to see her like that, apatah lg to be her. There were times where she was in denial of her condition. Who can tolerate the fact that one has no control over one's body. But as time goes by, she endured the pain and accepted her illness. Of course, with the support of her beloved ones and strength given by Allah. We used to think that she would actually go to see her Rabb first than my grandfather, judging by her state. Tp Allah lebih mengetahui. Siapa sangka, my grandfather was diagnosed of cancer and passed away a few years after that (rahimahullah). That was a great impact on her, losing her companion and her only soul mate.Nevertheless, her life must go on.

But then, lately, there was this person (may Allah condemn it!!), sampai hati mencuri dr my sick grandmother. All her jewellery was stolen. Xde belas kasihan ke?! For God sake! With her condition like that, it is unthinkable for someone to act that way. Unfortunately, after that, she developed post-traumatic effects. She felt like falling, suffocating, something hot inside her and etc. Since, all of these are psychologically derived, we're only able to console and calm her je la. Xpsl2, she got unnecessary problems because of other's greediness. Hmmm. Nk buat mcm mne. Just leave it to Allah.

Later, it got me into thinking  the reasons why I want to be a doc. Bcause of my father ke? Ikut org? Org suruh? Gaji lumayan? Nk nmpak gah jd doc? Nope. There is something more profound that I, myself could not describe it. But today, after having a conversation with my father about my grandmother, her illness, meds, etc, I've come into a self-realization of why I want to become a doc (niat kerana Allah tu mmg la). It is simple. I want that knowledge. Knowledge of knowing how to treat. To not be ignorance of others' (even myelf) sufferings. That particular knowledge that I want to learn and apply later. I.Allah. Moga Allah mudahkan my route of becoming a doc.

Not a crazy doc, I hope. :P

Add Up Your Vocab!

These are some not-so-bombastic words. He2, stolen from my bro's English assignment.

  • Perverse : do things unreasonable and can result in harm to oneself. e.g it would be perverse to stop this healthy trend.
  • Convoluted : complicated and difficult to understand. e.g. Despite its packed and convoluted explanation, Ganong's Medical Physiology textbook has extensive usage among medical students. he2 :P
  • Juxtapose : to place things side by side for comparison.
  • Tantamount : equivalent in effect and value. e.g. a request tantamount to a demand.
  • Felonious : showing criminal and evil purpose. e.g His expression shows off his felonious intentions.
  • Assiduous : works hard or does things very thoroughly. e.g The occupants of Ibnu Hayyan have been assiduous in learning Anatomy.  yeke? hak3
  •
So, that's all. Until next time. he3. Enjoy the comic. :P

Finally, An Entry Was Made After A Long Time!

Buzy. Xde idea. Mls. Among the commonest excuses for not updating one's blog. Hmmm, my last entry would....last year? hak3.It's already ini the middle of the Jan, but sj nk wish happy new year to all ye. So, it is 2010 aka 1431. My peers yg sebatch wif me, welcome to the age of twenties. Maka, perangai kekanak2 ribena yg riang lg happy tu, bolehla dikurangkn ye.

Daurah. Just got home yesterday. Becoz I booked flight too early, it clashed with Daurah. So, terpaksa la miss. Dgr kate cam best siot. Maka, jealous laa hati ini.Hu3 But let by gone be gone. Still, I'm looking forward for the next one. The contents are seemingly important for tarbiyyah and dakwah. So, note for myself, dun miss it! i.Allah. :P

Home. Once, dah smpai umah, ur priority has changed. Klau kt GV, the main agenda is to study (yeke?). But at home, ur commitment towards the family aka house chores laa tu, over-topped the former. In the other word al-birru lilwalidain la. Br la tenang nk study. It sounds very nice kn. (tp d partial truth is nk avoid dr kne bebel jerk, hak3).

Aim and goal. Selalu xdgr? "Hidup nie mesti bermatlamat." Without aims and goals, we're like circling around, dunno where to end. That's a foolish act. And I dun think anyone of you want to be acknowledged as a plain fool kn. But the truth is, some of us, just live day to day. Take life for granted. Do wat everyone else are doing and follow the flow of life like a puppet. Since we're r muslim, nk xnk, we aim for the Hereafter. Watever we are doing kt dunia nie, is like a batu loncatan ke akhirat. The things we did here, in this fana' world are our main and precious supply for our journeys kat Hereafter nnt. But still, ade yg too indulge with the worldly matters over the heavenly ones (e.g sume entertainment yg dgilakn2) as if they will help to ease your route Overthere. And I unfortunately is included among those people. Astaghfirullah a'zim.

he2 talking about target, I recalled one moment during bowling.
I: Ape tasniim punye target ble lps ball tuh?
Me: Ntah. Sy belasah je. As long as pin tuh jatuh. (kate2 org yg jahil bowling).
I: Eh, xboleh2, kte msti ader target nk lps bola tuh.
**Moral : To play pon, one needs a target/goal. What's more ngan life kite.

Yeah! Bowling group. Me, Jannah n Mr Ihsan.
