Alhamdulillah. Finally i got to post sumthing after a looong hiatus mode. (well, nak jugak update blog despite of SSM xabes edit lg) huhu.

#1 Int medicine posting and exam

Done internal med posting. MasyaAllah, it's among the best posting (setakat nie). And I love it. It was quite hard in term of the coverage of diseases and everything. But if u want to see the whole picture of medicine, this is THE posting.  Like Dr N said, "Everything is medical unless proven otherwise." Hehe, terbaik quote ni.

During clinical exam, my long case was bilateral lower limbs weaknesses. Whoaha. That was the last thing on my list and on my mind. I didn't study much on that topic kot. But fortunately, that was my seminar topic also, and electrolyte imbalance was d part I was assigned to present. Rezeki Allah is everywhere and during the exam, His guidance was relentless. And my examiner was a super sweet and motherly lecturer. Alhamdulillah, it turned out to be okay. However, the short case was hard as usual la. Since u've only 10 mins to match up the findings and diagnosis. Greater chance to mess up.  Hehe. But what's important is, awk berusaha2 dan tawakkal!

#2 Tajuk SSM

My supervisor was a microbiologist. So, nak xnak kena cari tjuk infection or anything related. Dunno how it happened, the topic turned up to sound like this, "The Burden of Pneumococcal Disease among Older Adults in Malaysia". Maaak aiih, mcm gile nk cari figures and stats kat Malaysia ni. Huhu. Ya Allah, permudahkan laa SSM ni!

#3 Solat and Patient

Let's ask ourselves, how many times after we clerked the patients, we asked them about the solat? Xbyk kali pn kan. Kalau ade yg mmg tabiat mcm tu, Alhamdulillah. Unfortunately, I'm not. Yes, tau, kena reflect diri byk2. Students USIM, bawa nama Islam, so, kena bawa attitude Islam jgak. Kalau x, apa beza mereka dgn kita? errmmm.

Ditakdirkan ada adik2 from MSC dtg interview kt hosp. Projek utk solat katanya. So, nk dpt feedback dari senior (waahh, semangat junior2-ku ni!). So, I brought them along to see d patients (alang2 tu, bleh kasi exposure dunia hosp kt diorg ni). We interviewed a patient. Seorang p.cik. Turned out p.cik tuu mmg xpenah tinggal solat since die masuk hospital. Alhamdulillah. (p.cik tu mmg nmpak alim sbnarnya, tp we'll never know kan, look can be deceiving. hehe.)

Pak cik : Kamu tahu x? Sejak p.cik masuk hospital nie, semua org asyik tanye soalan berkaitan perubatan. Ini kali pertama org remind kan saya ttg solat. Padahal itu yg utama.

Subhanallah, perghh agak tertusuk juga di kalbu bila dgr confession mcm tu drpd p.cik tu. Ya Allah, berikanlah kami kekuatan utk membawa agama-Mu di mata masyarakat!

#4 Plan-Allah-itu-selalunya-yg-terbaik!

Al-Baqarah Ayat 216 :

“Boleh jadi kamu membenci sesuatu, padahal ia amat baik bagimu, dan boleh jadi (pula) kamu menyukai sesuatu, padahal ia amat buruk bagimu; Allah mengetahui, sedang kamu tidak mengetahui.”

Ayat ni sbenarnye sgt famous and among my best penenang hati whenever things dun happen d way I wish it to be. Sy redha and accept everything with open heart. And Allah knows best. Hehe. Selalulah doa utk kita sentiasa kuat utk menerima ujian dia. Eeehh, tp ujian tuu bukan tanda syg dr Dia kan. ecece. :D

Ok, that's all. SSM is waitingggg!!
